This morning I have honesty and integrity on my mind.

Reputation is everything. I think this is even more true in the online world where you don’t always get to meet people face to face.

You’re Only as Good as Your Word

I’ve had the opportunity to meet in person many of the people I have ‘met’ online. For the most part, it has been great.

Now and then, however, you will meet someone and truly get a sense of who they really are. And it’s NOTHING like what you thought. 🙂

Sometimes this is good and sometimes this is not so good.

I’ll give you a good example.

In 2016, I had the opportunity to travel to the UK. While there, I attended the London Lunch which is hosted by Martin Avis (very nice guy, btw).

I met quite a few people who I had ‘heard’ of in the online space – some pretty big names (in my opinion lol).

One in particular I’d like to point out, is Michael Wilding.

I truly enjoyed meeting him in London and found him to be 100% genuine. I can’t say enough good about him.

His emails are always a good read and gives some great advice.

And then you meet some people who turn out to NOT be reliable and you can’t trust their word.

In business it is especially important to be known for your honesty and integrity. I believe that if you desire to help people and and over deliver, you will succeed.

You must have honesty and integrity – in business and in life.
