Using QuickInstall for installing WordPress via your cpanel is pretty straight forward and takes less than ten minutes. Before you can start building your website you need to have WordPress installed. If you have never viewed it before, it can be a little confusing
Here are some detailed steps for the beginner to make the process not so daunting and easy to follow.
Using QuickInstall for Installing WordPress
Once you have logged into your cpanel, you will scroll down to almost the bottom of the page.
Under “Software and Services”, click on the “QuickInstall” icon
Click on “Get WordPress”
Click on “Install WordPress”
Fill out the next page as shown in the image below.
Once you click “Install WordPress”, you will see at the top of your screen – “Your Credentials”.
This is your login link, username and password, make sure you note them down in a safe place. (LastPass free password manager is good for this).
Once this is done you can use these credentials to log into your WordPress admin area and start searching for the theme you want to use.
