New Year, and resolutions, spare me! I’ve no doubt it’s happening again to thousands, broken resolutions for everything such as:

-Losing weight
-Pay off the mortgage
-Stop smoking
-Start earning $100(or more) online

By the end of the month, most of us will have slunk back to our old ways using a variety of excuses.

So how to combat this?

Don’t make resolutions at New Year!

You should always be planning and have an action plan for your goals, not just at New Year. The trick is to focus on one task at a time.

So, you have your main goal….break it down into 1 task at a time and have a deadline for that task. This is your action plan for that goal.

Keep it simple, don’t try to do everything at once, keep your focus on that single task, this will take you one step closer to your goals.

The Adsense course took us longer to create that it should have done simply because we didn’t set out an action plan till halfway through!

It’s very dreich here in Scotland, but, I must get out and walk, no excuses! I made a promise to myself when I came back from Australia last year, not to be a fair weather walker.

I bought a good waterproof coat and boots and am actually enjoying walking in all weather, I get some of my best ideas then! I must follow Sarah Staar’s strategy and turn on my iPhone voice recorder when I’m walking!

Have a good week. 🙂
