We always want to let you know the best tools to use for your business BUT we also want to make you aware of the ones to avoid!
Kathy and I have been using Siteground for over a year. We both had an account with them.
A couple months after our annual renewal, we both get an email saying we have malicious malware on one of our sites and if we did’t get it taken care of our site will be shut down.
Their support – which btw were fabulous over the course of our first year
with them – would not help with the situation.
Their only solution was for us to pay for a service they are partnered with – Sucuri. Now Securi is great but not something I want to be ‘forced’ into purchasing at that price or any price really.
We instead opted to move our websites to other hosting and purchased site lock.
Funnily enough – both of our websites are now fine and dandy.
We will be moving our remaining sites as well.

We are now recommending GreenGeeks – which is where we are moving our sites to.
We have since heard from two other people who were using SiteGround and had the exact same thing happen to them!
